Let’s Get REAL { Behind the Lens }

Ok mom’s and dad’s.. THIS is a look at what happens at 99.9% of EVERY shoot, but this time, it’s my own family portraits.

The top 5 things I hear moms and / or dad’s tell me at photo shoots:

1. I am so sorry!
2. I swear he/she is not usually this crazy
3. Seriously I am so embarassed
4. Do you like wine!? I need to buy you some for dealing with ___.
5. Sorry – SORRY!

You guys… STOP APOLOGIZING! Because you know what, I have a daughter, and look, really look – it happens to everyone! I know your kids are super sweet, but it’s just something with having a camera in their face, and seeing all this NEW stuff around, that makes kids want to explore and play and not look super cute and smile at me.. and I get it. As you can see, my kid is the same way lol

Good news is – I’ve got your back! And I am going to get the picture of your kid ( you won’t even know I got the perfect picture ) but I did… and you are welcome 😉

Come to the studio, have fun, and stop looking for perfection – as it turns out, just being yourself.. IS perfection, because that is REAL.
